Sustainable Design: Chicago's Past, Present and Future
This project was a broad exploration of sustainable architecture in Chicago, citing expert sources on the cutting edge of environmental building practices.

Several infographics and visuals were designed for this project, such as this timeline showing the evolution of sustainable design over the past half century.
This storymap focused on three buildings that epitomize the past, present and future of sustainable design. For each building, specific features were highlighted through visuals and expert commentary.
The story concludes with a map built with ArcGIS that plots the locations of over 400 platinum and gold LEED certified buildings in Chicago.
Building to the Great Pyramid
I created a geographical tour of the early Egyptian pyramids, plotting the evolution of their design and construction. Beginning with the first experiments in pyramid building, I crafted 3-D models of the first 7 monumental Egyptian pyramids up to their zenith constructions at Giza.

As users scroll through the page a map on the right traces the path of pyramid construction across Egypt.
Mark Lehner's "The Complete Pyramids" provides detailed schematics on pyramid complexes and interior structures. These were used to create digital reconstructions that highlight standout features of each pyramid.
Models of each pyramid, built with Autodesk Maya, can be viewed and explored in three dimensions.
